Gary is an experienced, knowledgeable and personable pilot. Not to mention an excellent tour guide. It was a beautiful day. The visibility was perfect, windows were clean, you could probably see as far as 70+ miles in every direction. It wasn’t cramped and more than enough room to stretch your legs in the back two seats. If your planning a trip to Glacier National Park, I’m m sure seeing it from hiking the trails would suffice. Why not live a little and experience more of it from an aerial view!? It’s definitely a once in a life time experience that you will never forget. Would strongly recommend Glacier Aviation Services 100% of the time. You won’t regret it.

What a way to celebrate our 47th Anniversary!! A fabulous experience that exceeded expectations. The views were spectacular. A MUST do for a Glacier visit. Gary was so clear with instructions prior to the flight. There were no surprises!! It was obvious we were dealing with competent professionals. Ramsey was an incredible pilot who gave great narratives of what were we’re viewing as well as being mindful of this special place. I am prone to motion sickness. The team, aware of this, picked a mild route so I had zero issues with turbulence. Most importantly we felt safe and knew we were in good hands from start to finish. Even Will was helpful in getting us in and out of the gate. Two thumbs up!! I totally recommend the Glacier team for anyone thinking of an adventure.

We booked online and received a call from Gary. He said weather conditions were perfect at the time so we switched our booking and he met us in an hour for the flight. He said visibility was great and flying conditions don’t get any better. He has a very clean hanger… . The flight was great and he was so knowledgeable about the area and was caring to make sure my partner and I were doing well throughout the flight. It was my partner’s first helicopter flight and she felt very comfortable and we both were able to get such a better sense of the area via air. If you want breathtaking and unique photos of the mountains and glaciers, by air is the best option! The photos you take are ready-made for framing once you get home. It was a great way to kick off our trip. I have personally been on several helicopters and Gary did a great job of giving us a smooth and knowledgeable ride! We did a one-hour flight around 1 pm in the afternoon. You can feel confident in his abilities and knowledge of flying! Talking through the headset makes you feel like part of the crew, and adds to the overall cool aviation experience. We both highly recommend!!!

What an incredible experience!! I went with my fiance, 7-month-old baby girl, and best friend. Got to take as many pictures as I wanted! Learned so much about the area, the mountains, and their names. If you want a positive experience, go fly around and especially for the first time in a helicopter… these guys are the way to go!! Much better than a plane!! Our baby girl fell asleep heading back but the experience didn’t bother her in the slightest!! Amazing experience! Family-friendly staff! Will definitely go back to these guys!! 100% recommend!!!

Glacier Aviation has certainly mastered the art of flightseeing. We had a spectacular experience from nose up to touch down. Gary is a highly skilled pilot, and also very knowledgeable of the area, pointing out highlights and sharing interesting stories. Seeing Glacier National Park from the air offers a unique perspective that you don’t get from the ground. Certainly a bucket list experience that I’m sooo happy I did.

When the snow in Glacier National Park prevented us from driving far into the park, we turned to Glacier Aviation to take the two of us on a one-hour helicopter trip over a large portion of the park. As a former pilot, I was impressed with Gary’s focus on safety and refusal to fly if the weather was not conducive to a safe flight. The helicopter trip was perfect under his flying and allowed us to see the vast grandeur of one of our country’s most beautiful parks. We’d go again in a heart beat.

Gary was a first-class pilot. He made our whole family so comfortable. Seeing Glacier from the air really put a bow on our trip to Montana.

Not being a frequent helicopter flyer, I was nervous to book this trip , but felt seeing the area from the air would give me a deeper understanding of the geography, geology. Thus company , it’s people, their professionalism in all aspects, helped me abandon my concerns and really enjoy the flight . Our pilot gave us enough commentary to make it interesting, but didn’t drone on with boring chatter.

Since I am prone to motion sickness, I took a child’s dose of Dramamine and wore the acupuncture bands on my wrists. The pilot knew how to keep the flight steady and pleasant , and I had no problems. Easy to take photos from , that copter is tiny , but my 6’2” (230) husband fit into the back seat. There was a restroom at the hangar nearby, and instructions for finding it were detailed and accurate.

I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

My wife and Army buddy whom I’ve known for over 40 years booked a one-hour helicopter flight over Glacier Park and the mountains over the Jewel Basin. Gary was our pilot. His knowledge of the mountains, glaciers, and lakes was outstanding. The views were spectacular. You will never see the mountains of Montana from this view unless you go with Glacier Aviation.

I cannot recommend this experience enough. Our pilot was very friendly and enjoyable. We did the half-hour experience and from start to finish it was full of great views and helpful information. Looking forward to booking this again.

My helicopter flight with Glacier Aviation was out of this world extraordinary!! Prior to the flight, I was uncertain given that it’s a pricey adventure. As soon as we got to the mountains, I knew I made the right choice. From snow caps to vivid green valleys, avalanches to waterfalls, It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. If you can do it, don’t miss it!!

You can’t get a better view of Glacier Park and the surrounding areas. As a 5th generation Montanan we’re always getting breathe taking views of this great state! But this tour takes the prize. It’s hard to take photos because you’re constantly taking it all in. We loved our pilot because he was friendly and had so much knowledge of the area. This is a bucket list item for sure.

The Glacier team was great to work with. Great modern equipment that was in great conduit. The pilot was very skilled and knowledgeable of the area. The ride was smooth and the views were great. I’ve taken the 1/2 hr – I wish that we could have done the full hr flight.

Bought this for my wife’s 50th Birthday Present, she has never been flown in a helicopter. Gary was our pilot, his staff was super friendly seem more excited than wife to give a new experience for someone. At first, doing all line with only one phone call was different, I follow all the steps and it worked seem less. The flight from take-off was awesome within a few minutes you are on top of the world. My wife’s SMILES were priceless!!! Best way to see Glacier! A must-do!

The hour helicopter ride included beautiful views of mountains, glaciers, lakes, rivers, and towns in the area west and south of Glacier National Park – all described and named for you by your pilot. Ramsay did a fantastic job letting us know what we were looking at and keeping us safe on our flight. The entire process was very organized, which was greatly appreciated. Read closely on the website where the tour will be taking you- they do not go into the very busy park areas like Logan Pass or Many Glacier. You can see the Canadian Rockies in the distance and Lake McDonald in different portions of the flight. It was a beautiful experience.

We did the 1/2 hour helicopter tour and it was AMAZING – well worth it. It was my husband, myself and our 17-year old son. Our pilot Ramsay was exceptional in his flight skill and knowledge of the area and was very friendly. Would highly recommend this!
